Two Joint Post-Doctoral Fellowships
The call is open to all disciplines, thematic or subject areas that exist at both universities or are complementary. Each fellowship is awarded for 24 months and consists of two phases. 12 months of research are spent at Freie Universität Berlin followed by 12 months at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (or vice versa). The Post-Doctoral Fellows will conduct their research project embedded in a team of
Freie Universität and Hebrew University experienced researchers. The applicants
shall suggest a research proposal and identify faculty members at both universities
to serve as the fellow’s principal supervisors. The criteria for the election of the grantees will be based on the academic excellence of the applicant and the quality
of the proposed post-doctoral research project. The fellowships include a monthly stipend of EUR 1,500 and a one-time relocation allowance (EUR 2,000). The Post-
Doctoral Fellows will further be eligible to receive travel funding and will have access to the Academic Profile Development Program at Dahlem Research School.
