Postdoctoral researcher (f/m)
The German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) is a center of excellence within the Helmholtz Association that performs translational research on neurodegenerative diseases. The center includes nine high-performing sites in Berlin, Bonn, Dresden, Göttingen, Magdeburg, Munich, Rostock / Greifswald, Tübingen and Witten.
We offer a position as
Postdoctoral researcher (f/m)
– Code 1288/2015/1 –
within the group of Dr. Ehninger at the DZNE site Bonn.
Our group is interested in molecular and cellular mechanisms that contribute to neuropsychiatric and aging-associated disorders. To this end, we employ mouse models and multidisciplinary experimental approaches that combine behavioral neuroscience tools with genomics and epigenomics, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, as well as neurophysiology. The group is also interested in translating findings from preclinical models to human populations.
We offer committed mentorship, exciting research projects, an excellent scientific environment in an emerging major site for translational neuroscience research, state-of-the-art facilities and good funding.
