Die Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien ist die größte und eine der renommiertesten wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Hochschulen Europas. Das Institut für Wirt­schaftsinformatik und Neue Medien besteht aus einem interdisziplinären Team aus mehr als 20 Forscher/inne/n mit einer ausgeprägten Industrieanbindung über die Spin-off-Firma Knowledge Markets. Die Forschungs­ergebnisse reichen von der Softwareentwicklung für dynamische Systeme, Sicherheits- und Workflow-Management, skalierbaren Web-Systemen bis zu international verankerten Projekten im Bereich E-Learning und Wissensmanagement.

Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams ist ab 29.03.2015 eine Stelle für eine/n Universitätsassistenten/Universitätssistentin post doc mit Tenure-Möglichkeit (Assistant Professor, tenure track; Angestellte/r gemäß Kollektivvertrag für die Arbeitnehmer/innen der Universitäten), im Beschäf­tigungsausmaß von 100% (40 Std./Woche) zu besetzen. Die Stelle ist auf 6 Jahre befristet und kann über eine Qualifikationsvereinbarung als Tenure-Stelle verlängert werden. Das monatliche Brutto-Mindestentgelt beträgt 3.483,30 Euro. Die Anrechnung von tätigkeitsbezogenen Vordienstzeiten ist möglich.

Ihr Aufgabenbereich:

Mitarbeit an den Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeiten des Instituts (Dynamic Scripting Languages, Scalable Web Systems, Learn@WU)
Selbständiges wissenschaftliches Arbeiten im Rahmen des Forschungsplans des Instituts mit der Zielsetzung einer Habilitation
Mitarbeit in der Lehre der technischen Fächer des Studienzweigs Wirtschaftsinformatik (Softwareentwicklung, Netzwerke, Informationssicherheit) sowie des internationalen Masterprogramms Information Systems (IS-Development, Distributed Systems, Information Systems Engineering)
Mitarbeit beim Einwerben von Forschungsdrittmitteln
Organisatorische Aufgaben

Ihr Profil:

Abgeschlossenes Doktorats- bzw. PhD-Studium in Wirtschaftsinformatik (Information Systems) oder Informatik bzw. eine gleichzuhaltende Qualifikation
Vertiefte wissenschaftliche Vorerfahrung in den o. g. Forschungsbereichen
mehrjährige universitäre Lehrerfahrung in den o. g. technischen WI-Fächern
praktische Erfahrung bei größeren Software-Entwicklungsprojekten
Erfahrung und Mitarbeit bei der Einwerbung und Durchführung von Drittmittelprojekten
Sehr gute Wirtschaftsinformatikkenntnisse
